US-based integrated payment processing technology Shift4 Payments has forged a partnership cashless gaming and betting solutions provider Sightline Payments.
Under this partnership, the companies will deliver a cashless payment experience to casinos and sports venues for hosting online gaming and sports betting events.
The patrons of hospitality, online or mobile gaming, on-premise gaming, and sports betting venues are said to benefit from the latest partnership between the two fintech firms.
Sightline’s online or mobile gaming and betting solutions will add to Shift4’s end-to-end payments offering.
This will allow them to deliver an all-inclusive payment ecosystem for casinos, sports venues, and all other hospitality businesses.
The offering also provides a comprehensive guest experience across in-venue and online payments.
In February last year, payment technology provider i2c also partnered with Sightline to deliver cashless programmes to entertainment operators.
Sightline Payments CEO Joe Pappano said: “As the world at large continues to shift away from cash and towards robust, forward-thinking digital payments solutions and loyalty programmes, it is a pleasure to partner with a powerhouse like Shift4.
“We are already experiencing strong interest from opportunities we are cooperatively pursuing and look forward to continuing to expand our pipeline and delivering on the potential of this partnership.”
Shift4 Payments CEO Jared Isaacman said: “The regulated gaming market, including sports betting and fantasy leagues, is enormous and continuing to gain in popularity.
“We are excited to partner with Sightline to take on this massive payment opportunity.”
In October 2020, Shift4 Payments launched a contactless QR code ordering solution for restaurants.
