Netherlands-based financial institution Rabobank has integrated its Cashless Betalen service with US-based MyOrder’s payments system.

Designed as a wallet linked to a Rabobank Minitix account, the Cashless service uses authentication methods such as NFC sticker, key bob or wristband, to allow payment transactions, reported Telecompaper.

With limited number of applications for the service, the technology has been deployed for various sports clubs, business cantines and other internal functions seeking to avoid the use of cash.

It is reported that the mijncashless website will be modified in the MyOrder house style and the service will be called MyOrder Cashless.

According to Telecompaper, the application was recently upgraded with new functions, including payment through PayPal, iDeal and credit card.

Rabobank aims to launch new mobile and payment services in partnership with MyOrder.
