The ATM machines operated by Electronic Network Cash Tellers (Encash), an independent ATM distributor in the Philippines, are now technically equipped to facilitate transaction by VISA International cardholders.

Encash has successfully completed the implementation of the test withdrawals and has already received due technical approval for security features installed in its cash machines after clearing Visa pin audit, reported BusinessMirror.

Operating more than 300 ATMs, Encash is considered to be the first to completely comply with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas directive for the use of the European Mastercard Visa chip cards to avoid ATM skimming.

The ATM distributor is now almost in the final phase of its PCI-DSS certification, or the Payment Card Industry (PCI)-Data Security Standard (DSS).

The PCI-DSS certification will mean Encash has complied with the minimum standards set by Visa to allay fraud.
