Remittance firm Western Union has expanded its digital services to the UAE.

The UAE is the seventh country in the Middle East to provide the service.

Consumers in the UAE can make online payments utilising the Westernunion.com website.

They can also use the Western Union mobile app to make payments.

In this context, Western Union cited World Economic Forum’s Global Competitiveness Report 2018.

The report ranked the UAE first globally for mobile broadband subscription rate and second in the mobile subscription index.
