Ghana’s Universal Merchant Bank (UMB) in collaboration with Visa has rolled out the new UMB Visa Classic Debit Card.

The new card will ensure greater security for transactions by incorporating the most advanced chip and pin technology.
It will provide all customers of the bank 24/7 access to their funds on the bank’s ATMs, other Visa branded ATMs as well as point of sale terminals across the globe.
The lender will provide free UMB Visa Classic Debit cards to both new and existing customers for a limited time period and until supplies last.
In addition, the bank has announced that its current magnetic strip card will be phased out by November 2015.
