UnionPay International has teamed up with Myanmar-based commercial lender Kanbawza Bank (KBZ) to jointly issue UnionPay credit cards in the country.
The new credit cards, including UnionPay classic card and Asia Prestige platinum card, can be used locally and internationally.

UnionPay Asia Prestige card has been designed for business people who travel frequently in Asia. Cardholders can avail rich exclusive offers and value-added services at many tourist attractions, merchants, airports and high-speed railway VIP lounges.
The new credit cards are accepted by the UnionPay network across 160 countries and regions, and are available for online payment.
UnionPay has also partnered with other local Asia Green Development Bank, AYA Bank, Co-operative Bank and Myanmar Oriental Bank, in issuing Union Pay-MPU co-branded debit and credit cards in Myanmar.
