Toyota Financial Services has signed an agreement with Barclays to offer Pingit mobile payment app to its customers, allowing them to make additional payments on their car plans using a smartphone or tablet.
Pingit app, which is free to download, can be used by anyone with a UK mobile number and a UK bank account.

Toyota Financial Services offers a range of flexible finance options for new cars and Light Commercial Vehicles in addition to all Toyota Approved Used vehicles.
Toyota Financial Services finance and compliance director, Rupert Wentworth-Jessop, said: "We understand the importance of giving customers choice when it comes to their payment options and Barclays Pingit provides our customers with an innovative, fast and convenient way to make payments."
Barclays UK corporate transactions product head, Mike Walters, said: "Ease and convenience are key factors when it comes to making payments and with mobile activity on the rise, it’s important for companies to consider mobile payment options as part of their offering."
