Atlanta-based SunTrust Banks has launched a new banking app, SunTrust Tablet App, which runs on iPad and allows customers to access its banking solutions anywhere and anytime.
The new Tablet App for iPad is similar to its Mobile App and allows customers to access their accounts securely to transfer funds, deposit cheques, view account activity and search for ATM or branch locations.

It also offers expanded features such as the ability to search transactions, view recent bill payments, check the running balance of checking and savings accounts, and access financial tips and articles.
SunTrust Banks consumer banking and private wealth management executive Brad Dinsmore said at SunTrust, their purpose is to help their clients achieve a sense of financial well-being.
"More than half of our Online Banking clients are also using one or more of our Mobile Banking solutions, and this new app is another tool to help them take control of their finances at their convenience," Dinsmore added.
To promote the use of its online and mobile banking services, the lender is also offering customers a chance to win two tablets every day till the end of January 2014.
