Payment technology providers Stripe and Midigator have teamed up to ease the complete payment lifecycle.

Stripe aims to bring more online commerce.

Meanwhile, Midigator focuses on making commerce more secure and payment disputes less complex.

The integration of the two companies will enable merchants process online transactions in a secure way.

Under the partnership, Midigator developed a simple-to-activate extension for Stripe.

Using Midigator’s technology, Stripe users can now combat chargebacks automatically.

Midigator CEO Corey Baggett said: “Both Midigator and Stripe are committed to creating technologies that will empower merchants to focus on what they do best: deliver great products or services.

“Stripe makes it easy to accept payments. Midigator makes it easy to manage payment disputes.”

Baggett said that the missions of the two parties “align perfectly”.

The partnership was also welcomed by Stripe COO Claire Hughes Johnson.

Johnson noted: “We’re excited Midigator is joining forces with us today to provide a better overall experience for the millions of businesses scaling on Stripe.”

The development comes close on the heels of Stripe’s announcement of a remote engineering hub.

Stripe will hire more than a hundred engineers this year for the new hub.

The firm recently also launched Stripe Billing in Europe, which aims to simplify the recurring billing process for SaaS and subscription-based firms.
