US-based Starmount has joined forces with Servebase Computers in the UK and France’s Ingenico to offer mobile selling solutions for EMV payments.
The partnership will allow Starmount to deploy its solutions for mobile selling and omni-channel customer engagement in the UK and Europe.
According to Starmount, its EMV solution will also ensure that the US customers will be guaranteed for Visa’s October 2015 liability shift, which will require US retailers to accept EMV chip transactions or assume liability for fraudulent transactions.
Ingenico vice president of market development in North America, Rod Hometh, said: "Our joint offer will help retailers engage with their customers across channels by delivering a more personalized shoppers’ experience."
Servebase product marketing director, Melissa Law, added: "The US shift to EMV is one of the most exciting developments in the payments industry since the advent of mobile POS, and the partnership with Starmount is an important step in ensuring that retailers are fully compliant."
