Spark Business, in collaboration with New Zealand-based firm Optimizer, has developed a new mobile payments product.
The new product enables merchants to accept payment on the spot anywhere using a smartphone and Swipe’s mobile application with card reader.

Businesses can use the cost-effective Optimizer’s low-cost Swipe mobile payments product on an open term contract without paying any monthly charges. Customers will be able to access the payment solution through their existing bank.
Spark Home mobile and business chief executive Chris Quin said that the mobile payment product would allow Spark Business customers to spend their time and energy making money rather than collecting it.
Quin added: "We have done extensive research with our business customers, looking at what we can do to make their lives easier.
"Partnering with Optimizer to offer a low-cost and simple mobile payments product is yet another way that we can give New Zealand business the tools they need to get on and do more."
