Russia-based North Credit Bank (NCB) has implemented payment processing solutions from Russian BPC Banking Technologies with the aim of improving the efficiency and flexibility of its operations.

BPC’s multifunctional platform SmartVista will replace a legacy processing system. According to the bank, the existing platform

hampered its capacity to launch new products and expand its range of services.

Use of the BPC SmartVista system will enable the bank to meet Visa and MasterCard’s smartcard issue certifications.

Dmitry Sychev, NCB head of IT, said:

“Not only will SmartVista enable us to launch new card products quickly and help us ensure that our ATM network is operating at peak efficiency but it will also help eliminate fraud.”

The bank will also deploy BPC’s SmartIssuer and SmartPro products to integrate its card management and card production solutions.

The two components will provide NCB with an end-to-end credit card solution for magnetic and smart card personalisation, simplifying the design of new card products.
