Russia-based North Credit Bank (NCB) has implemented payment
processing solutions from Russian BPC Banking Technologies
with the aim of improving the efficiency and flexibility of its
operations.

BPC’s multifunctional platform SmartVista will replace a legacy
processing system. According to the bank, the existing platform

hampered its capacity to launch new products and expand its
range of services.

Use of the BPC SmartVista system will enable the bank to meet
Visa and MasterCard’s smartcard issue certifications.

Dmitry Sychev, NCB head of IT, said:

“Not only will SmartVista enable us to launch new card products
quickly and help us ensure that our ATM network is operating at
peak efficiency but it will also help eliminate fraud.”
