Russia-based Rosselkhozbank has partnered with UnionPay International to accept UnionPay cards by all its 3,300 ATMs and 4,000 POS terminals by the end of 2015.

Additionally, the bank expects to begin mass issuance of UnionPay cards from 2016.
The partnership will facilitate the development of the bank’s card businesses as well as boost the card-using range for its clients.
Earlier in 2015, UnionPay International has already entered into an agreement for acquiring with Rosselkhozbank.
Under the agreement, Rosselkhozbank said that it would issue a total of 500,000 UnionPay debit and credit cards locally within the next three years.
