Vietnam-based PVcomBank has implemented SmartVista platform from BPC Banking Technologies, to replace the legacy ATMs switch and card management system.
SmartVista platform manages all aspects of ATM management, billing, mobile and contactless payments, settlement, point of sale, card issuing and acquiring, microfinance and electronic payments processing.

PVcomBank said that the current CTL switch has reached capacity under the increasingly demanding business requirements and large volumes of transactions.
The deployment of SmartVista, after acquiring license from MasterCard, has allowed PVcomBank to roll out credit cards to the consumers of Vietnam for the very first time.
The bank is set to launch a complete line of credit cards such as Classic, Gold and Platinum products. Besides helping to customize each card group for every client, SmartVista will support the bank with a multilayer architecture for the credit option calculation.
SmartVista also supports flexible authorization that will enable PVcomBank to setup diverse authorization techniques by using different parameters such as BIN, Card Number and other transaction parameters.
