Nigeria’s national telecom operator Globacom have announced a
partnership to allow P2P transfers via airtime top-ups.

The company has developed prepaid mobile

million people.

Speaking about the new partnership, Head of

the Nigerian diaspora to support their families, “by easily and
instantaneously replenishing their mobile airtime minutes on the
Glo network through Prepay Nation and their partner retailers”

Prepay Nation’s Head of Marketing Sarah Feidt
said the company is pleased to serve the Nigerian diaspora. A
community that she said “remits an estimated $20 billion
annually”.
