Pivotal Payments, a provider of payment processing solutions, has announced that its FlexPoint platform will support credit and debit transactions through Apple’s new launched Apple Pay.
FlexPoint integrates with third party applications and can adapt to any sales environment, offering virtually unlimited options at the checkout.
The platform was developed to deliver easy and seamless updates to accommodate new payment types, including electronic wallets such as Apple’s Passbook.
Apple Pay’s transmission of payment information through an NFC antenna built into every new iPhone and Apple Watch makes it fully compatible with FlexPoint.
FlexPoint provides both EMV and NFC capabilities. The platform allows the businesses to save time and money on future hardware upgrades.
