paysafecard, a prepaid online payment solutions provider and a Paysafe unit, has expanded its footprint across South America by launching in Paraguay.
paysafecard is a prepaid online payment method based on vouchers which allow consumers to buy goods and services online using a 16-digit PIN.
It aims to serve underserved consumers without access to a bank account or credit card, and those who are reluctant to share their details online.
paysafecard partnered with Practipago, a payment and collection network, to offer its services at over 1,800 retail outlets in Paraguay.
Through the partnership, paysafecard vouchers will be made available at grocery stores, convenience stores, petrol stations and kiosks in the country.
Customers can use paysafecard to transact in four denominations; PYG50,000, PYG100,000, PYG250,000 and PYG500,000.
