UK-based payments platform Paysafe Group has teamed with Yorkshire-based Gala Technology for multi-channel payment solution.

Gala Technology’s cardholder not present (CNP) payment solution SOTpay enables card users to conduct secure transactions remotely, without compromising their sensitive card details.

The alliance will equip Paysafe merchants with capabilities to process PCI DSS compliant payment transactions across communication channels.

Merchants will be able to process transactions across various channels such as telephone, email, SMS and social media platforms, Gala Technology said.

PCI DSS compliant transaction will allay the risk of fraud-related chargebacks as well as associated costs for the merchant.

Gala Technology commercial director Steven Jones added: “Our cloud-based technology does not require any additional hardware or integration, or any amends to existing telephony and network infrastructure, which means that deployment can be swift and incredibly cost effective. It’s perfect for remote working environments.”

In July, video streaming platform YouTube tapped Paysafe Group to enable payments for users of YouTube Premium.
