Qatar-based telecom company Ooredoo has collaborated with Barwa Bank to introduce a new payment option for its customers to make their bill payments.
Under the new service, all customers of the bank can make their prepaid and postpaid bill payments through Barwa Bank’s Mobile and Internet banking services.
Barwa Bank Personal Banking & Wealth Management general manager Hussain al-Abdullah said: "Barwa Bank is continually developing our products and services to suit the needs of our customers, and offering a service that will combine these two everyday tasks will save our customers time and money."
With this second agreement between Ooredoo and Barwa Bank in 2014, the companies have added a new service to its joint portfolio to improve customer experience.
Ooredoo assistant director Indirect Channels Brian Speldewinde said: "We’re delighted to be working with Barwa Bank on this service, with their help we can make it easier than ever for people to update their accounts and pay for services."
The new launch is line with Ooredoo’s commitment to expand its services for its customers by signing new partners, expanding its range of e-channels and offering a nationwide network of self-service machines that can be accessed round the clock.
