Wincor Nixdorf, along with its local partners Myanmar Golden Rock and ACE Data Systems, has deployed the EMV solution for the bank within a period of five months.

The solution comprises three levels, including EMV Level 1 Hardware (Wincor’s EMV-compliant card reader), EMV Level 2 Software, and EMV Level 3 Back-End Integration.

AGD Bank managing director Htoo Htet Tay Za said: "AGD aims to provide enhanced customer experiences in the most secured environment for our customers. By implementing the global EMV standard, we are achieving a significant leap forward in protecting our cardholders against fraud.
