Mastercard has announced that small businesses using its Business and Business World Elite cards in the US now have access to Microsoft business tools.

Cardholders will be able to use Microsoft 365 for Office apps, including Word and Excel, cloud services, email, online meetings, chat, file storage and security.

In addition, small businesses will have access to Microsoft Advertising, which is expected to increase leads, visits and purchases.

Mastercard head of North America small business Ginger Siegel said: “We’re committed to delivering a solid foundation of benefits and offerings for our small business cardholders that help them thrive in their day to day business operations.

“As a result, we’re continuing to bring together our smartest solutions with transformational offerings from strategic partners like Microsoft to enable the rapid delivery and design of best-in-class solutions that simplify and enhance small business owners’ lives.”

The card company also offers Salesforce Essentials customer relationship management solution and Intuit’s QuickBooks and TurboTax.
