Ingenico has inked a deal with Taxis Verts of
Brussels to fit the fleet of cabs with a one stop shop payment suit
provided by easycash
Michel Petre, CEO of Taxis Verts said: “The
decision to equip our taxis with electronic payment facility was
taken for quite some time, but we had to find a partner who could
understand the specific organisation of our fleet and allow us to
implement the solution swiftly.”
Taxis Verts of Brussels is currently deploying
Ingenico’s payment terminals iWL250 and the easycash payment
solution throughout Brussels.
Pierre-Antoine Vacheron, executive
vice-president Europe SEPA added: “The taxi industry is a key
vertical market for the Ingenico group and we are very pleased to
partner with Taxis Verts as it demonstrates the success of the
internationalization of easycash”.
Easycash has begun penetrating the Belgium
market a year ago. Ingenico said that since then, numerous
merchants from different segments have signed up for the easycash
payment solution across the country.
