ICICI Bank, one of India’s largest private sector banks has
launched what it calls India’s ‘first dual Platinum Credit Card’ –
ICICI Bank Rubyx.
Cardholders will receive two cards – the ICICI
Bank Rubyx American Express Platinum Credit Card and the ICICI Bank
Rubyx MasterCard Platinum Chip Credit Card.

ICICI Bank said the cards will be linked to a
single card account with a single statement and a single fee, which
aims to provide access to a number of privileges from American
Express and MasterCard.
The cardholders can choose between three
rewards plans and earn bonus points across merchant categories
where they normally spend more, with the freedom to change their
reward plan based on their changing needs, said the bank.
Chanda Kochhar, CEO of ICICI Bank said:
“This new product provides our card members
the convenience of a single account and two credit cards that allow
them to earn rewards through both American Express and MasterCard.
In summary, this product is an affirmation of ICICI Bank’s
commitment to offer first-to-market privileges to our card
members.”
