IBC Bank, First Bankcard introduce new business and consumer credit cards

IBC Bank, the flagship bank of International Bancshares Corporation, and First Bankcard, a credit card issuer and a division of First National Bank of Omaha, have rolled out a new business and consumer credit card programme.

The new consumer cards, based on Visa-platform, include – Complete Rewards Visa Card and the Platinum Edition Visa Card.

The Complete Rewards Card provides one percent back on purchases, redeemable as cash, gift cards, travel or merchandise.

In order to avail a higher value of 1.5% back, the cardholders have an option to redeem their rewards into an IBC Bank checking account.

The cardholders can avail free access to FICO Scores, ‘design your card’ features, online and mobile account access and fraud protection.

The business cards – Business Edition Visa Cards – offer a zero percent introductory APR on purchases and balance transfers for the first six billing cycles.

The cardholders can gain access to fraud protection, management reports and cash flow management services.

IBC will also provide First National Bank’s VOX, Purchase Edition and Commercial Edition cards with the IBC brand logo to its business clients.

First National Bank executive vice president of consumer banking group Jerry O’Flanagan said: “First Bankcard makes it possible for our partners to provide custom credit card products that benefit their customers and expand their product line.

“First Bankcard’s credit card product line and superior customer service allows us to help quality partners like IBC build more loyalty with its customers and enhance its brand.”
