HSBC Hong Kong has announced that from today personal credit cardholders can convert their RewardCash into mileage free of charge.
Through the HSBC Reward+ app, customers will have access to gifts, vouchers and other redemption privileges. In addition, HSBC has removed the programme’s annual fee of HSK300 ($38.70).

“To make card usage simpler, faster and smarter, we’ve removed the annual mileage programme membership fee, expanded the redemption options, and made it easier and faster to get rewards.”
Redeeming mileage
To redeem mileage, customers are only required to connect their mileage membership accounts with HSBC Reward+ once.
Connection with respective Asia Miles account and conversion into Asia Miles will be processed and completed in real time, allowing customers to book tickets immediately. From 19 May to 21 June 2020, customers will get 10% extra Asia Miles when they redeem through HSBC Reward+.

By GlobalDataHSBC Premier MasterCard cardholders can also submit redemption requests for British Airways Executive Club Avios and Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Miles via the HSBC Reward+. The mileage will be credited to their accounts within two weeks.

Since launching HSBC Reward+ in 2018, the bank has added new features such as Pay with RC. Pay with RC enables customers to directly offset their statements or card transactions with RewardCash.
