Hessel, an international relocation expense management firm, has selected Bottomline Technologies’ payments software, to enhance its capability to process payments securely and efficiently.
Bottomline Technologies, which operates as a cloud-based payment, invoice and banking technologies provider, said that the new payment platform has enabled Hessel to process over £30m worth of payments more effectively while decreasing operational risk.

The new software is expected to meet Hessel’s requirements for a robust, secure payments solution that would scale with the expanding business, while fulfilling its complex multinational transaction needs.
Leveraging the new tool, Hessel can now easily process payments across multiple locations, for numerous users on behalf of global companies that are relocating their talent worldwide.
Hessel was using a PC based system, PayAway, before deploying Bottomline payments software.
Hessel Group technical director, Geoff Davidson, said, "Since 2011, Hessel has nearly doubled the volumes of money it pays out, from £17.8 million to £30.2 million in 2013.
