Griffin Technology has partnered with Square to launch a Merchant Case that connects with Square Reader.
Compatible with the newly launched iPhone 5, the merchant case is custom-moulded and secures the Square Reader when connected.
The case is made of durable silicone and comes with a groove at the bottom that aligns with the Square Reader to insert or swipe the credit card.
Featuring non-slip sides and corners, the case has been designed to make it easier to hold the phone and to hand over for customers’ signatures.
The company also launched Works with Square, a programme that allows developers to build accessories for Square businesses.
Griffin B2B product development director, J Curtis, said Merchant case is the first protective case designed to augment and provide storage for the Square Reader.
"Paired together, our Merchant case and Square Reader create the ideal point of sale solution for all businesses on the go," Curtis added.
