Global Payments has signed an agreement with automobile dealership software firm Reynolds and Reynolds to provide point-of-sale, electronic payment solutions for automobile dealers.

Under the agreement, Reynolds will deploy Global Payments’ payments technology across its dealership management system (DMS) platforms and software solutions, offering customers with secure and efficient electronic payment solutions across its sales channels including in-store, online, and mobile devices.

Reynolds and Reynolds president Ron Lamb said that the company was seeking a payment processing solution partner who shared its vision for the consumer experience, security, and advanced technology.

"We found this in Global Payments, as well as a company with deep experience in their industry. Adding this technology is one more step for Reynolds in helping dealers improve how their businesses operate and how they deliver a true retail experience to their customers," added Lamb.

Global Payments’ Integrated Solutions division president Eddie Myers said: "This partnership demonstrates the strength of Global Payments’ distribution, combined with a differentiated service offering."
