Mobile payment provider Fortumo has unveiled a new payments intelligence platform, called Fortumo Insight, for mobile operators.
Using the new platform, mobile operators can understand their carrier billing performance and make informed decisions to increase revenue from app stores, digital content and games.
Fortumo Insight offers functions for mobile operator teams including launch managers, fraud prevention specialists, business development managers and marketing specialists to access key metrics about their billing platform. It will also provide mobile operators access to payment volume information, spending behaviour information, payment success rates, overview of merchants and items that generate the biggest revenue for merchants and app developers and information about refunds requested by users.
The new offering aggregates information through Fortumo’s agnostic payments platform, which processes payments in over 90 countries.
Additionally, Fortumo has also launched a new initiative called Uplift for its partners.
The initiative comprises publishing educational materials and information, custom advice on fine-tuning app store performance, managing spending limits, reducing fraud together with sharing the best practices from other carriers.
Fortumo chief business officer Gerri Kodres said: "Uplift aims to provide carriers with information and education on how to improve billing performance, optimize the revenue and increase subscriber satisfaction."
