Ghana-based First Atlantic Bank has teamed up with a youth radio station Yfm to launch a new debit card, Faym debit card, which allows customers to transact business online and has access to all ATM machines locally.

The card also has multiple functions and special security features such as the card is pin-protected and sends SMS alert for every transaction.

Yfm director William Nanka-Bruce said the card had multiple operational functions that made it easier to use for online transactions and is ideal for youth, who would find it convenient as the best bank card to enhance their lives.

First Atlantic Bank e-banking head Sebastian Lovelage Yalley said the unique saving functions of the card would promote a savings habit, reduce cash handling and encourage online shopping.

The Faym debit card is available at all First Atlantic Bank branches and can be activated using mobile phone and point of sale (PoS) turndown.
