Western Union has enhanced its bill payment site Speedpay to
allow customers to receive and pay bills through smartphones and
tablets.

Striata, a paperless communications

for Android, Blackberry, iPhone and iPad devices.

David Shapiro, senior VP of Western Union
Payments said:

“Our Western Union Payments Money Mindset
Index shows that consumers, whose use of mobile devices is
outpacing all other media, are looking for a wider range of payment
options from billers”

According to the company, the new Speedpay
gives consumers access to a 24 hours one-click bill payment
processing.
