UK-based payment processing platform DECTA has launched a one-day merchant account opening programme for those merchants who intend to shift online.
The move is in line with the company’s strategy to support a quick transition to e-commerce.
The FCA-licensed company, which provides end-to-end services for payment processing, acquiring and card issuing, is offering instant access to its DECTA payment gateway.
The programme will enable merchants to invoice customers online within 24 hours and check the payment status to begin the delivery process.
The programme will enable merchants across industries like retail, wholesale, finance, electronics, healthcare, and food supply, among others, to accept payments online even before having a website.
To apply, merchants need to send information regarding their companies and the goods, and certain other documents for simplified legal checks.
There is no cap on how many electronic invoices can be generated via the DECTA gateway and it has many customisation options as well.
The invoices, which are sent to the customer’s email, include a payment link which redirects the customers to the payment page where they can pay online.
Merchants planning to supplement electronic invoices with card payment acceptance from the company website can integrate their website with DECTA Gateway API in a few days.
DECTA Gateway maintains plug-ins for online trading platforms including WooCommerce, Opencart, and Magento.
