German payment service provider Computop has partnered with ACI Worldwide, a provider of electronic payment and banking solutions, to launch an integrated online payments and fraud prevention solution for eCommerce merchants.
The solution will be powered by ACI’s ReD Shield, a card-not-present (CNP) fraud detection and prevention solution for eCommerce merchants.

The fraud prevention solution has been designed to provide merchants insight into their fraud risk and online customer activity, allowing them to combat fraud and increase conversion rates.
Computop said that by using Computop Paygate integrated with Red Shield merchants can make an informed choice about whether or not to refer a transaction to 3D Secure.
Also, merchant can choose to approve without calling out to 3DS if transaction is low risk or decline it automatically, avoiding the need to request a 3DS authentication if it is high risk.
