The re-launch is part of their seventh year partnership. The new enhanced card will offer cardholders up to 7% cash rebate when they use it at all Petronas stations across the country.

CIMB Group CEO Tengku Dato’ Zafrul Aziz said: "CIMB PETRONAS MasterCard has proven to be very popular with customers, and through the years, we have acquired more than 100,000 customers.

"Now into our seventh year partnership since 2008, we feel it is time to revamp the card value proposition in order to be more competitive and at the same time to continue bringing the best benefits to our customers, a new offering which is very relevant in this current economic environment, to help consumers gain from their spending in this challenging market."
