CBTS, a provider of technology solutions and wholly owned subsidiary of Cincinnati Bell, has received PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) compliance certification for its managed services team.

The company delivers managed services for a wide range of businesses.

The certification represents the company’s commitment to abide with the compliance requirements that retail and/or financial services customers require in CBTS’ hosted solutions.

CBTS said that it had made investments in several security tools, infrastructure, staff and staff development.

CBTS Managed Services vice president Paul Howard said: "When companies see that we have the PCI certification, it reinforces their trust and confidence in doing business with us."
