The pocket sized, chip & PIN SRED-compliant secure mobile payment device, PosMate Smart, has been certified in collaboration of Nepting, a payment platform provider that integrates the device.
The certification will cater to the security needs of merchants and consumers by meeting the complex security and certification requirements in the omni-channel payment market.
Spire Payments CEO and president Kazem Aminaee said: "At present we have shipped over 80,000 chip & PIN mPOS devices deployed in over 20 countries, thereby reaffirming Spire Payments’ position as a global leader in mobile payments, and at Cartes 2014 we announced no less than 2 more mPOS devices, the SPm2 and the SPm20, to reinforce our position as market leader."
