Bottomline Technologies, a provider of cloud-based payment and digital banking solutions, has integrated NCR Corporation’s intelligent transaction processing platform Authentic into its direct faster payment service (FPS) solution.
The integration will allow British financial institutions to connect securely to the FASTER PAYMENTS network. FASTER PAYMENTS is a company that enables mobile, internet, telephone and standing order payments to move quickly and securely.
Bottomline’s FPS is built around its own payment technology linked to NCR’s Authentic to improve scalability as it grows its range to include SWIFT, Bacs, CHAPS, ebics, Paym, CASS, cheques and Bank of England settlement services.
Bottomline Technologies general manager of payments and cash management Ed Adshead-Grant said: “We wanted a global solution that could provide seamless connectivity to the Faster Payments network.
