Bluefin Payment Systems, a US-based payment technology provider, has teamed up with digital menu and loyalty innovator eTouchMenu for encrypted mobile payments.

eTouchMenu, through the partnership, will offer integrated payment processing to clients backed by Bluefin’s PCI-validated P2PE mobile solution, which encrypt cardholder data within a PCI-approved P2PE point of entry device.

Bluefin chief of integrated payments Julie Counterman said: "Bluefin’s PCI-validated P2PE solutions not only insulate the POS from cardholder data but also renders the cardholder data useless to a hacker."

eTouchMenu CEO Scott Morrow said: "For example, with a swipe of a credit card, debit card or gift card, guests can pay when they’re ready without flagging their server. And now, with Bluefin, we have taken payment security to the next level by ensuring cardholder data is never in the clear."

Bluefin offers security solutions for point of sale transactions including PCI-validated P2PE products through their PayConex payment gateway, QuickSwipe mobile POS system, Salesforce App and Decryptx.

eTouchMenu is a guest facing, tabletop digital menu system designed for restaurants and hospitality establishments.
