Barclaycard is offering double reward money on
cardholder purchases until the 17th May to celebrate the launch of
Barclaycard Freedom.

The double Reward Money period means customers
can earn 2 percent on most transactions, alongside other special
promotions and giveaways in store. To qualify, cardholders need to
log in or register for mybarclaycard, Barclaycard’s existing online
account servicing site which is available on
barclaycardfreedom.co.uk.

The rewards programme which was launched on
17th March this year, is available in over 30,000 retail outlets in
the UK, including npower, Shell and Pizza Express. In the first two
weeks of Barclaycard Freedom, Barclaycard cardholders have earned a
total of £164,936 in Reward Money.

Sarah Newman, managing director of Barclaycard
Freedom said: “It’s great to see that customers are already reaping
the rewards of our Barclaycard Freedom retailer coalition.
With double Reward Money on offer until mid-May, the Easter break
has been the perfect opportunity for people to earn extra.”

Barclaycard customers making a purchase in
most participating retailers will see the value of their existing
Reward Money balance appear on the card machine before they enter
their PIN to pay and they can choose to redeem some or all of that
existing Reward Money balance against that transaction. After
the purchase, the Reward Money earned on that transaction is then
added to their balance.
