AsiaPay Payment Technology, an online payment service provider in the Philippines, has launched a payment service called "PesoPay PayCash" for the unbanked population of Philippines in a drive to promote the growth of eCommerce.
PesoPay PayCash, a real-time payment processing solution, will enable merchants to sell online and accept cash payments allowing both unbanked and cash-based consumers to make online purchases and pay in cash via payment centers such as BDO, RCBC, Bayad Center, and ECPay payment partners, reported Inquirer.net.

PayCash, with its Payment Tracker feature, will allow customers to check payment status by entering the payment reference number via a widget or a tracker link.
The Automated Validation feature on PesoPay PayCash will eliminate the need of manually verifying and reconciling over-the-counter payments.
AsiaPay Philippines senior manager for sales and marketing Mau San Andres said: "We developed PesoPay PayCash to enable online and mobile businesses to capture more customers by providing an alternative payment option that is easily accessible for the masses.
"Through our partnership with well-known payment centers, merchants who utilize PayCash will gain nationwide coverage in accepting cash."
