American Express has formed a ‘Stand for Small’ coalition to provide support to small businesses in the US as they navigate the coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis.

The coalition includes over 40 firms across media, technology, consumer goods, professional services, and many other industries.

The company claims that the coalition will provide millions of small businesses in the US with valuable services, offers, tools and expertise.

These resources will not only help businesses cut operation costs but also enable them to remotely manage their teams and boost their digital capabilities, noted the company.

The initiative has made multiple resources available on a centralised digital platform.

American Express chairman and CEO Stephen Squeri said: “We’ve always believed in the power of partnership and could not be prouder to stand tall for small with more than 40 partners to offer meaningful support to small businesses during this challenging time.
