American Express has introduced a new credit card that enables Canadian businesses to meet their spending needs.
Called the American Express Business Edge Card, the offering enables the cardholders to earn up to 42,000 bonus points during the first year.
Additionally, the cardholders are provided with a range of business expense management tools as well as resources so that they can better manage their business expenses.
The new credit card provides 3x the points on business essentials such as rides and gas, office supplies and electronics, and team lunches.
The bonus points can be redeemed for employee gift cards, personal travel, business trips, and statement credits, among others.
Commenting on the launch, American Express Canada global commercial services vice president and general manager Paul Roman said: “We know a one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t work for today’s small business owners.

American Express is also providing complete insurance coverage for car rental theft and damage, employee misuse card protection, buyer’s assurance protection along with purchase protection.
Additionally, the American card firm will offer customer service round-the-clock, guarantee for fraud protection, and emergency card replacement.
