Etihad Guest, Al Hilal Bank launch Visa credit card

Etihad Airways’ loyalty programme Etihad Guest has introduced a new Visa credit card in partnership with Al Hilal Bank.

The Al Hilal Bank Etihad Guest Visa credit card is designed to provide a range of travel benefits to the UAE residents.

Etihad Aviation Group Commercial Partnerships vice-president Yasser Al Yousuf said: “Our partnership with Al Hilal Bank and Visa provides our members with the opportunity to earn Etihad Guest Miles on their daily spends from the first transaction on this new credit card.

“Al Hilal Bank Etihad Guest Visa card users can choose to access a host of exclusive travel benefits, discounts and rewards to complement their lifestyle.”

Available in Platinum, Signature and Infinite variants, the card will offer the customers Silver or Gold Etihad Guest Tier Status with the first swipe.

Additionally, they will receive a sign-up bonus of up to 60,000 Etihad Guest Miles. This can be redeemed for a return flight from Abu Dhabi to specific Etihad destinations. They will also receive 15% miles back while redeeming the bonus on flight bookings.

Also, the cardholders will receive up to 40,000 miles in annual bonus.

Al Hilal Bank CEO Amr Al Menhali said: “Co-branded cards make an incredibly powerful customer proposition; they are good for the bank, the airlines and most importantly, the customer.

“Signing this agreement with the UAE’s national carrier Etihad Airways marks a new phase of growth for the Al Hilal consumer banking business.”

Al Hilal Bank Etihad Guest Visa cardholders are entitled to access selected premium airport lounges across the world. They can also avail discounts on dining, car rentals, and shopping.
