Loyalty programme and gift card provider Ackroo has launched its payment services offering AckrooPAY.

With the launch of the new payment offering, Ackroo customers can manage all their primary merchant currencies such as gift card and loyalty through a single platform.

It will also enable the merchants to gain deeper insight into customers’ spending patterns and accordingly improve the Ackroo platform.

On the other hand, the move will provide Ackroo with additional revenue earning channel and support its organic growth in future.

Ackroo CEO Steve Levely said: “We have spent the last few years organically and inorganically improving the marketing aspect of our products and services to address the growing demand from our customers.

“Although we are committed to continuing to improve in this area it has become clear that we also needed to further advance the payments aspect of our solution as well by adding payment processing as a complement to our physical and digital gift card offering.
