Imperva launches a high-risk transactions malware protection software

Data security firm Imperva has added a device identification and fraud malware detection to its fraud prevention software ThreatRadar The companies said ThreatMetrixs software interoperates with the Impervas SecureSphere Web Application Firewall (WAF) to help secure high-risk transactions, new account origination and online authentication against fraud. The ThreatRadar Fraud Prevention is aimed at detecting fraudulent users and helps prevent fake accounts and log-ins, mitigating fraud-related expenses, according to Imperva.

Vodafone buys UK mobile coupon provider Vouchercloud

Vodafone is moving further into the mobile commerce space with its acquisition of Vouchercloud, a smartphone-based coupon provider. The Vodafone Group was already a shareholder in Vouchercloud with a 21% stake since May 2011, but increased its stake in the company to 57% on 6 June
