India’s leading private sector bank HDFC has
announced the launch of an ultra-premium credit card targeting the
upper class in the country.
The card – INFINIA, promoted as a “no limits”
credit card is a first to be launched in the country and will be
offered to a select 5000 customers initially.
“INFINIA is a super-premium offering from us
to rich Indians. It is the culmination of a very successful journey
that began in 2003 with the launch of our first card,” said Aditya
Puri, managing director, HDFC bank.
“What prompted us to conceive INFINIA was the
need our clients felt for such a product,” he added.
The card will be available on both Visa and
MasterCard platforms.
