Corporate Banking in MEA: Finastra Universe Focus Session

During Finastra Universe 2021, more than 100 thought-provoking discussions were streamed online as finance industry experts tackled the technology trends accelerating change for financial institutions around the world. A focus session on the Middle East and Africa was held by Finastra’s head of international, Wissam Khoury, discussing how corporate banks in the region are evolving their digital strategies, shifting their priorities and adopting new business models in light of the rapidly changing financial industry and ongoing digital revolution. Khoury was joined by a panel of executives from the region’s leading banks. Speakers included: Dr Tomisin Fashina, chief information officer at Ecobank; Ronald Mutandagayi, group chief executive of ZB Financial Holdings Limited; Antranik Tcheboukjian, head of technology, corporate investment banking at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB); and Mohammad Nasr Ullah, head of trade and transaction banking solutions at Arab National Bank.
