Isis , the mobile payments initiative from AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile is expanding with a new program aimed at offering a major support to merchants.

Isis Alliance Program allows merchants, through the use of exclusive tools and resources, to capitalise on the opportunities that mobile payments create.

Jim Stapleton, chief sales officer at Isis , said: "The Isis Alliance Program will help companies harness the competitive advantages created by mobile commerce and better serve merchant customer needs".

The nationwide launch of the free mobile wallet preceded Isis ‘ move: now AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless subscribers will have the chance to make mobile payments by using their NFC-enabled phones.
