In a statement, Yuno said the proceeds will be used to speed up its “path to profitability”. The company said the funding will support expanded research and development of “next-generation payments technology”.
Yuno also said it plans to scale its global infrastructure for enterprise merchants, banks, and wallets.
Yuno co-founder and CEO Juan Pablo Ortega said: “Most companies raise a Series B to buy growth. We’re raising ours to meet our customers’ growth, and extend our lead, with a clear line to profitability in the year ahead.”
Founded in Colombia in 2022, Yuno describes itself as an “AI-native operating system” for global payments and financial services. It supports payins, payouts, fraud prevention, KYC/KYB, and stablecoins through an API integration.
The company said it connects businesses to more than 1,000 payment methods and over 460 integrations across more than 190 countries.
Global PayTech Ventures managing partner and Yuno board member Javier Perez said: “Since joining Yuno’s board last fall, I’ve seen firsthand how Juan Pablo and his team are redefining payments infrastructure.”
“Yuno combines global reach, local intelligence, and AI-driven execution to help customers increase global presence, authorization rates, reduce costs, and scale faster.”
