Yorkshire Payments, a UK-based payment provider, has signed a three year partnership agreement with Global Payments, a US-based provider of payment solutions.
The deal with Global Payments will facilitate Yorkshire Payments to provide its customers with the banking platform, while it will be responsible for providing back office service and support, reported Business Quarter Magazine.

The partnership follows a rigorous tender process, which took almost three years to complete.
Yorkshire Payments founder James Howard said: "Our aim is to provide businesses across the Yorkshire region with a local, customer focused service that is supported by some of the most innovative and advanced technology. Our partnership with Global Payments will help us to achieve this."
Global Payments strategic partnership manager Andy Ward said: "This joint venture highlights our strategy to support independent merchant solutions providers and support Yorkshire businesses."
The team at Yorkshire Payments has recently relocated to new Thornhill Brigg Mills development in Brighouse in a move to support the company’s expansion plans which include the appointment of further team members.
